Ean Sinn

Ean Sinn

Owner | Funeral Director | Funeral Celebrant

Ean grew up in Trimont, MN and is a 2016 graduate of Martin County West. While in high school, he found a passion for funeral service after doing a job shadow at a local funeral home. Ever since then, his goal was to return home to serve the community he loves.

After high school Ean enrolled in the Program of Mortuary Science at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities, and graduated in May of 2019. While in school, Ean took various opportunities with funeral homes of every size to find new ideas to bring home to Trimont someday.

Ean completed his funeral director internship at Hoff Celebration of Life Center in Winona, MN, and felt like he had finally found the way he thought families should be served. The comfortable facilities, modern options, and unique life celebrations inspired his vision for the Sinn Family Celebration of Life Center.

While living in Winona, Ean met Crystal Siemers-Peterman at a wedding, and they had an instant connection.  Despite 2,000 miles between where they both lived, and the start of a pandemic, Crystal and Ean were eventually married in St. Peter, MN in July of 2021. They moved to Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, to be closer to Crystal's family.

In January 2023, Ean, Crystal, and their Golden Retriever Dolly, decided that it was time to move home and begin their business.

On July 14, 2023, Ean and Crystal closed on the purchase of the former Trimont United Methodist Church. They began renovations to modernize the building in August, and started on the additions in October.

Royce Murra

Royce Murra

Funeral Director

Royce Murra brings a wealth of experience and a warm, familiar voice to our team at Sinn Family Celebration of Life Center. Royce became part of our team when we opened our doors opened in November 2023, serving families with care and compassion and many years of experience in the local area. You will see him working with Ean, Greg, or Mary from time to time and we are so grateful to have him working with us!

Growing up on a farm southwest of Buffalo Center, Iowa, Royce developed a strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for community values.

A 1991 graduate of North Iowa High School, he pursued his passion for broadcasting at Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge, earning his degree in 1993. His career in radio began while he was still in high school at KIOW Radio in Forest City, Iowa. He then joined KBEW Radio in Blue Earth, Minnesota, in July 1993 as 98 Country’s first weekend announcer, later transitioning into sales and sports broadcasting in 1994.

Royce’s desire to serve others led him to a new calling in funeral service. In 2001, he enrolled in the Mortuary Science program at Carl Sandburg College in Galesburg, Illinois, graduating in 2003. His journey in funeral service began at Winter Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Buffalo Center, where he worked as a funeral assistant starting in 1996. After completing his degree, he returned to manage their newly opened Blue Earth location. By 2004, he became a licensed funeral director in both Iowa and Minnesota.

Despite his deep dedication to funeral service, Royce never lost his love for radio. In February 2005, he rejoined KBEW, where his voice remains a familiar presence in the Sales & Sports Departments.
